- :If you don't grasp that a 17" or greater VGA display
- :cost more than $400 and that a Video Toaster user
- :cannot, at this time utilize VGA displays that's ok.
-
- Nobody said a 17"+ display cost less than $400 - reread my message if that
- wasn't clear to you.
-
- :I am not here to convert you or to force you to buy.
- :I know some out there will have the same cost phobia
- :as you.
-
- Cost phobia? No ... I just don't think it's worth it to even think of
- aiming this product at the home market. Video toasterphiles, maybe, but
- Joe A1200 is not going to spend $650 for a monitor. ($400 gecko, $250 VGA
- monitor). It's just not worth it - unless you've been holding back on a
- lot of features in your discussion here.
-
- FYI I don't have cost phobia, I just don't see where the $400 comes from.
- Please list the features of this product, since I can't find in in any
- magazines I can pick up around here (which boils down to Amazing and VTU).
- Not for me, as I have an A3000 which has a hardware deinterlacer/scandoubler
- built-in, but for my neighbor, who has an A1200/2 monitor setup and would be
- very interested in a deinterlacer/scandoubler that supported AGA fully.
-
- :However, if you send messages to the effect that someone
- :is stupid, worthless, or dumb I would say you need to back
- :up your comments.
-
- It was you saying things like that, if I recall. Keep personal insults out
- of this thread, 'k?
-
- : So what I said is true, you are
- :talking about a product you have no background in and have
- :never seen.
-
- Please tell us about this mystical product, and why something that seems to
- be available for much less than $400 already justifies the $400 price tag!
- That's what we want to know!
